CPIM Haryana State Committee Condemn the gruesome gangrapes in Haryana

Haryana state committee of CPI(M) has expressed grave concern over rising graph of crime posing a serious threat to security of common people in general and that of the women in particular. In a press note issued today party state secretary Inderjit Singh has alleged while the state has gone into the grip of organized crime state government continues to be totally insensitive to the situation.

Citing the cases of Dabra in Hisar,Piloo Khera in Jind and Gohana in Sonepat as most disturbing instances of gang rape he has said that women in general and dalit women in particular have become soft targets of criminal elements.

The committee also expressed astonishment at Haryana Chief Minister’s statement that spurts in crime figures were due to increase in registration of crime by the police. Party has also condemned the mention of increasing investment as a proof of better law and order situation by the CM at Chandigarh on Friday.

Party has decided to launch a mass campaign against deteriorating law and order situation throughout the state soon with other concerned organizations and citizens.
