The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) condemns the arrest of P. Jayarajan,
Secretary of the Kannur District Committee and a member of the Kerala
State Committee of the Party. This arrest charging Jayarajan of
conspiracy in a murder case is a deliberate act motivated by political
considerations.
The CPI(M) appeals to all democratic minded sections of the people to strongly protest against this vindictive action.
