Left Parties calls for Karnataka bandh on December 9

Left parties and like-minded organisations have given a call for Karnataka bandh on December 9 in demand of the resignation of B.S. Yeddyurappa-led BJP Government. Resignation of the “corrupt” Government is required to pave way for an impartial inquiry into the scandals involving Mr. Yeddyurappa and his Cabinet colleagues. The bandh is also intended to shed light on the 2G scam involving UPA Government at the Centre.

Dalit Sangharsha Samiti, Samata Sainik Dal, Janavadi Mahila Sanghatane, SFI and DYFI appealed to the people of Karnataka to support the bandh.
