As many as 56 deaths were reported during June so far and 1,243 cases of malaria have been registered in the 12 out of 33 PHCs of the area but Mr. Balaraju claimed that only 125 cases have been registered. Satyanarayana, Araku Valley ZPTC Killo Surendra, district committee members P. Appalanarsa and M. Narsinga Rao Padal said at a press conference.
