11th CITU Kerala state conference will start from tomorrow at Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala. The conference will conclude on 23rd with a huge rally. 650 delegates representing around 13 lakh members of the organisation will participate in the conference. The conference will be inaugurated by Com M K Pandhe, CITU All India President on 21st morning. CITU State General Secretary Com. K N Raveendranath will hoist the flag. On the opening day evening a Seminar on the subject "Challenges posed by Communalism and Terrorism" will be inaugurated by Com. Pinarayi Vijayan. On the second day a Seminar on "Global economic Crisis and Working Class " will be inaugurated by Com. Sitaram Yechury. The concluding day rally and meeting will be inaugurated by Com. V S Achuthanandan. The conference will discuss various issues relating to labour front and the working class. Discussions will be held on unity among trade unions to fight the threat faced by the working class from the capitalist forces.
