Around 50 lakh people from across the country will court arrest on April 8th against the anti people policies of the UPA government as part of the "Jail Bharo Andolan" on the call given by the Left Parties. According to the latest reports 15 lakh people from West Bengal, 14 Lakh people from Kerala and 3 lakh people from Tripura will participate in the struggle. Over 2 lakh people each from Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh and around 1 lakh each from Bihar and Rajastan will court arrest on that day. In New Delhi, the agitation will be lead by Com. Prakash Karat, Secretary CPIM. Com. A B Bardhan, Com. D Raja will all be there in New Delhi. Com Ramachandran Pillai (Chennai), Sitharam Yechury (Mumbai). K Varadarajan (Bangaluru), Budhadeb Bhattacharya, Biman Basu (Kolkota), M K Pandhe (Ranch), Brinda Karat (Patan), Muhammed Amin (Lucknow), B V Raghavulu ( Hyderabad), Manik Sarkar (Agarthala) will lead the struggle across the country.Tuesday, April 6, 2010
